Welcome to Pencil Pine. These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through www.pencilpine.au. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms.

About Pencil Pine

Pencil Pine is an Australian business offering fine art photographic prints, books, calendars and a range of photographic giftware inspired by Tasmania and the Australian wilderness.

Pricing

All prices displayed on our website are in Australian Dollars (AUD).

Prices are subject to change without notice. Once your order has been confirmed and payment has been received, the purchase price is locked in for that order.

Orders

Orders are considered accepted once payment has been successfully processed.

Occasionally a product may become unavailable or an error may occur with pricing or stock levels. In these circumstances we reserve the right to cancel or refund an order. If this occurs, you will be contacted as soon as possible.

Payment

We accept the payment methods displayed during checkout through Shopify Payments and any additional payment providers available on our website.

Your payment information is processed securely. Pencil Pine does not store your credit card details.

Photographic Prints

Every photographic print is produced using premium archival materials designed to provide outstanding image quality and longevity.

Please note:

  • Colours may vary slightly between your screen and the final printed product due to differences in monitor calibration and printing processes.

  • Small variations in trimming or cropping may occur depending on print size and aspect ratio.

  • Unless otherwise stated, prints are supplied unframed.

As many photographic prints are produced to order, production times may vary before dispatch.

Books, Calendars & Giftware

Product photographs are provided as accurately as possible. Minor variations in colour, finish or packaging may occur between production runs.

Dimensions and specifications are approximate.

Shipping

We ship throughout Australia and selected international destinations.

Shipping costs are calculated during checkout.

Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only and are subject to courier and postal services. Pencil Pine cannot guarantee delivery dates once parcels have been dispatched.

Customers are responsible for ensuring delivery details are accurate.

If a parcel is returned due to an incorrect address supplied by the customer, additional shipping charges may apply.

Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your parcel and include:

  • Your order number

  • Photographs of the damaged item

  • Photographs of the packaging

We will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

If your parcel appears to be lost in transit, please contact us so we can investigate with the shipping provider.

Returns & Change of Mind

We want you to be delighted with your purchase.

For change of mind purchases:

  • Please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order.

  • Items must be unused, unopened (where applicable), and in original saleable condition.

  • Customers are responsible for return postage costs.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

For hygiene or preservation reasons, some products may not be eligible for return once opened.

Custom-made or personalised photographic prints cannot be returned for change of mind.

Faulty or Incorrect Products

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

If a product arrives faulty, damaged, significantly different from its description, or the wrong item has been supplied, please contact us as soon as possible.

Where required under Australian Consumer Law, we will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement or refund depending on the nature of the issue.

Copyright

All photographs, artwork, text, graphics and designs displayed on this website remain the copyright of Pencil Pine and/or the respective photographer unless otherwise stated.

No image may be copied, reproduced, downloaded, published or used without prior written permission.

Purchasing a print or product does not transfer copyright.

Product Use

Photographic prints are intended for personal display only unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Commercial reproduction or resale is prohibited without written permission.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are redeemable only through the Pencil Pine online store.

Gift cards are not redeemable for cash and cannot be refunded unless required by law.

Privacy

Your personal information is collected solely for processing orders, providing customer support and improving our services.

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pencil Pine is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or website.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights that cannot legally be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Tasmania, Australia.

Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Tasmania.
