Hi, I’m Cam Blake — a wilderness and landscape photographer and owner of our new Pencil Pine Studios, and lucky enough to call Tasmania, Australia, home.

For me, photography is more than just taking pictures. It’s my way of switching off the noise, stepping into nature’s embrace, and letting the raw beauty of the world fill my frame. And Tasmania? Well, she delivers that beauty in spades — from rugged coastlines to untouched wilderness.

Most days you’ll find me deep in the wild, chasing light, exploring hidden corners from all over the globe, and bringing those moments back to share with the world. I also love teaching others how to capture these places for themselves, running multi-day photography workshops across Tasmania, mainland Australia and the rest of the world through my other passion — our award winning Tasmanian Photography Workshops & Tours.

My Pencil Pine Studios project is a lifelong journey to honour the incredible world of landscapes I love and the wild places that inspire me and to bring them into your home, or office or into the home of someone special to you.
